Max & Molly

I can't believe Molly has already been with us for 3 weeks.  She is such a sweet and calm little girl.  Much different than her big brother, who we all know is very active.  She is also a GREAT sleeper!  I'm getting 6-8 hours of sleep with this little girl (and she's sleeping in her crib!), compared to the 2-4 hours of sleep I got with Max a night.  We are so proud of Max during this transition period.  He has been absolutely amazing with her.  He likes to help me in any way he can, he loves sitting with her and sharing a blanket, and he gives her tons of hugs and kisses throughout the day.  He really is a great big brother.  Now we just have to get this boy potty trained and sleeping in his own bed all night...no big deal :)

Bedlam Game

It's that time of year again...Bedlam!  As most of you know Charles and I are fans of two different Oklahoma teams.  I'm a proud supporter of Oklahoma State, GO POKES!  While Charles is a proud supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners.  It's a fun day of teasing and joking about each others team, but at the end of the day we are still a happy house divided.  Good luck to both teams!

Max and Molly

Max is so in love with his little sister.  He loves holding her and giving her kisses.  He has been such a helpful and loving big brother.  We are all adjusting very well, and couldn't be happier!

Molly Diane Milligan

On Monday, November 21, 2011 we arrived at the hospital at 5 in the morning.  I was induced with Max and since all our family is in Oklahoma we decided to do the same thing with Molly.  We weren't really sure how long it would take for us to have Molly so I got my epidural early and just hung out for a while.  At about 11:15am the nurse checked me and I was dilated 6cm.  Thinking it would be a couple more hours we were not expecting what came next.  30 minutes later, 11:45, the nurse came back because I was feeling a little pressure.  She checked me again and sure enough I was 9cm dilated.  The pressure got worse and before I knew it it was time to start pushing.  The doctor made it just in time because little Miss Molly arrived at 12:13pm.  Our little girl was 6lb 13oz and 19.5in.  Beautiful and healthy!  Now our family is complete!
