I am so glad we were able to celebrate Max's 3rd birthday before Molly got here. He got to pick out the theme...of course he picked a Mickey Mouse theme. We invited all his friends over for some fun play time and cupcakes. The weather cooperated for us and all the kids were able to play outside. Max had such a great time with all his friends. He even got a new pair of boots! His 3rd birthday was a great success, and now he's ready for his little sister to get here.
He got a new pair of boots from Mimi and Papa.
So happy about his new boots!
Thanks Mimi!
Ready for his party.

Happy Birthday to Max!
Charles and I got Max this bike for his birthday, but he got it early bc I ran over his other bike.
Can't believe my little man is 3! We love you Max!

Weekly Update
Went to the doctor this morning for my weekly update and everything is right on track. I am 3cm dilated and 60% effaced. This time three years ago I did not progress at all with Max. In fact, I was the same dilation and effacement for three weeks with him before we went in to be induced. Looks like this little girl is making a little bit more progress. My doctor said that he would see me next week, unless something changes. We will see how it goes :)
Three years ago we celebrated Charles' 27th birthday while I was 9 months pregnant and now are celebrating Charles' 30th birthday 9 months pregnant again. We were excited to meet Max three years ago, and now we are excited to meet Ms. Molly.
It's amazing the difference between the two pregnancies. I got really big and swollen with Max and this time around has been much easier on my body. 13 days (or less)!!!
Happy 30th Birthday Charles!
We got to celebrate Charles' 30th Birthday Saturday with some great friends. We had everyone over for some pizza, beer, horseshoes and football. There was plenty of fun for all the adults and kids. Max had a blast playing with all the "kids", as he likes to call them. Charles had a great time, and we are so lucky to have such great friends. Thanks everyone for coming! Didn't get as many pictures of everyone as I would have liked, but I'll just blame that on being 9 months pregnant.
Thank you Fazio's, Jimmy, Dusty, Erin, Drigger's and Fisher's for helping us celebrate Charles' 30th Birthday!!!

Baby Update
Only 19 days to go! While we were at the doctor yesterday we went ahead and scheduled to have her induced (like we did with Max). We are on the calendar for November 21, just two days after Max's third birthday. We are all very excited and are looking forward to that day...unless Molly changes that plan and comes before then. I am currently 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. I have another appointment next Tuesday, and will see if I've progressed any further. Can't believe she will be here in less than a month.
When I was pregnant with Max, three years ago October 29, 2008, I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced.

Halloween 2011
Max was so excited about being Mickey Mouse this year for Halloween. I was going to buy him a Mickey Mouse costume from the Halloween store, but didn't want to spend the $40 they wanted to charge me. So, I just "made" him a Mickey Mouse costume. I had already purchased a black Mickey Mouse Halloween Shirt for him to wear to school, and then found some red shorts at Walmart for $2. All I needed to get after that were the ears, some white gloves, and some black paint for his nose. I think the costume turned out great, and Max loved it!
We started to get him ready Monday evening for all the fun, but he just didn't seem that excited about going trick or treating. I made him take a couple of pictures after we put his costume on, and then we waited for his friend Trinity to come over and walk with us. Unfortunately Max was not into taking candy from anyone. He would say trick or treat and when they tried to give him candy he would back up and say he didn't want any candy. Charles and I made sure his bucket got a couple pieces for candy. We only went to a couple of houses because Max was just NOT digging the whole process. Maybe next year. So, we went back to our house to hand out candy. Max loved giving the candy away! He thought it was so cool that all these kids were coming to his house, and he was very generous with the candy. All in all it was a good night.
Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse!
We've got ears, say Cheers!
Minnie, Mickey and Goofy
Mickey Mouse getting onto Goofy...they never show this side of Mickey Mouse on tv.
Max and his friend Trinity...the cutest little poodle.
Waiting for the door to open.
And Max starting to back away.
Ready to hand out candy!
We will definitely try again next year.
