Monster Fun

We got Max this cute little monster hat as an after Christmas present.  He needed a hat so he can ride his motorcycle and play golf in this cold weather.  He loved the hat so much that we had a mini little photo shoot and Molly joined in on the fun too.  He also got his own camera for Christmas and decided to take some pictures of me and Molly.  It was a fun evening activity for all!

He is so much fun!

Giving his dad some love.

This is Max being a monster.

I just love this face!

Taking a picture of mommy with his new camera.

Love him!

Now it's Molly's turn to have her picture taken.

He loves his new camera.

Getting another picture of mom.

Checking to see how his pictures turned out.  He's actually very good.

Giving Molly some love.

He told me he was helping Molly get her exercise.

He wanted to put the hat on Molly.

Max thought she looked pretty silly and Molly is giving us her Monster impression.

Floor Time

I finally set aside a little floor time for Molly...you know to get some exercise.  This was her first experience with the mat and the hanging animals.  I just love the look on her face as she tries to figure out what's hanging over her head.  She is such a funny girl!

And this is what happened next...

Max and the Chipmunks

Since Max is out of school for the next two weeks for Christmas break I decided we needed to get out of the house.  So, what can you do with a three year old and a newborn...take in a movie!  Max LOVES the Chipmunks, and when he saw the previews for their new movie he insisted we go see it.  He took his friend Alvin with him, I got him some popcorn and a drink, we got comfortable in our seats, and enjoyed the movie.  Max was so great during the whole thing.  He laughed and talked about certain scenes and when the movie was over he got upset and asked if we could watch it again.  I had to tell him that in order to watch it again we had to pay for another ticket.  I told him we would go home and watch his Chipmunk movie, and that got us out of the theater.  The best part were the figurines they had displayed outside our theater.  Max got his picture taken with all the Chipmunks and then he posed with each one individually.  I guess you could say this little dude had a great time at the movies!  Oh yes, and Molly is such a great little sister that she slept through the whole movie and didn't wake up until we got back to the house.  Win win for everyone!

Max and Alvin enjoying their popcorn and loving the movie!

Max and the Chipmunks!

Alvin!

Simon!

Theodore!

Max can't wait to add this movie to his DVD collection!

Sweet Morning Moments

Max and Molly were hanging out in our room one morning, and I caught them being extra sweet to each other.  Max just loves his little sister, and as you can tell Molly thinks her big brother is pretty special too.  We just love these two!  Oh yes, and you can't forget about the sweet pug, Conan, cuddled next to Max.

A Visit with Santa

We took Max and Molly to the mall to see Santa Claus.  Max was so excited to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas this year.  He told Santa he wants a motorcycle for Christmas and Santa told him to continue being good for mom and dad.  After that Max was all smiles for the picture.  Molly did great too...just let Santa hold her while big brother smiled.

Merry Christmas!!!

Black and Whites

Here are a couple of fun pictures I took of the kiddos this week.

This little boy LOVES Mickey Mouse!

Love her sweet face!

Fun with Dry Ice

Charles had some dry ice in his truck from a work delivery and he thought it would be fun to show Max how it works.  Max and Charles both loved playing with the dry ice in my kitchen.

All Our Children

It took a lot of patience, several attempts, and tons of treat promises to finally get a picture of all our children together.  Here are Max and Molly with the pugs - Roxie, Zeppelin and Conan.

Another Photo Comparison

Max is a little bit older than Molly in this picture, but you can definitely see that they look a lot alike.  It's just amazing!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Cookies

My oven is fixed, and I was finally able to make my Grams' Christmas cookies!  Max had a great time decorating them with his dad, and Molly just slept on the table occasionally opening her eyes to observe.  I was able to decorate some cookies after I finished the last batch.  They aren't pretty, but were made with love :)

Santa Max!

Max went with me to Walmart today to pick up all the things we needed to make Christmas cookies.  As we were picking out tins to gift some of our cookies he found a Santa hat.  He immediately put it on and told me to just call him, Santa Max.  He walked around Walmart with that Santa hat on until we got to the register so he could buy his new hat.  Got home and took a picture of him by the tree next to his new school ornament he made.  He even wanted Nana (Roxie) to be in a picture with him.  He is such a nut, and we just love him to pieces!

Marshmallow's anyone?

Now that the weather is much cooler, and we've been able to enjoy our fireplace Charles decided to have a little fun with Max.  So he bought all the fixings to make s'mores.  Max was really excited to finally be able to stick something in our fireplace.  With some help from his dad, Max got to set something on fire.  He had no interest in eating the marshmallows or the s'mores, but had a great time making them for mom and dad.
