Baseball Field
We like to take Max to our local baseball field/playground. We always take his baseball bat and ball with us. The night we took him there were several baseball games being played, and tons of kids at the playground. At first he just played baseball with me and Charles, but thankfully he made some new friends and they started up their own baseball game. Max had so much fun playing with the older boys that he didn't want to leave, but it was getting dark and the real baseball games were ending. Hopefully the next time we take him back those boys will be there again.
Ice Cream Truck
Sunday we were sitting outside enjoying the weather when we heard the ice cream truck music. Max stopped what he was doing and asked Charles if he heard that. As the sound got closer Max started jumping up and down and dancing. When he saw the truck we waved his arms in the air to get his attention. This is only Max's second experience with the ice cream truck and it amazes us that he knew exactly what it was when he first heard the music. Charles took Max to the truck so he could pick out his ice cream. It's a very important decision.
Thank you ice cream truck for making Max's Sunday complete!

Fun with Pugs!
Max loves playing with the dogs, especially Conan and Zeppelin. But Conan is by far the most laid back dog we have, and he just lets Max do whatever he wants to him. So Max got out one of his rolling baskets from his room and brought it into the living room. He wanted his dad to push him around the house, but Charles and I were trying to pick up the house so we told Max to give us a minute. Instead of waiting on us he decided to throw Conan into the basket and take him for a ride. Zeppelin started to get a little concerned about Conan as Max was pushing him around the house, so he would bark at them as they ran through the house. Max thought this was hilarious. The funniest part of the whole thing is Conan actually enjoyed being rolled around in that basket. He didn't jump out or get worried once. I'm glad Max can have so much for with the dogs!
Got a quick picture of Max rolling Conan around the house with Zeppelin chasing them. When the madness was over Max got into the basket with Conan to rest and tell the dog he did a good job. Then he asked Conan if he had fun. I think everyone had fun.
Check out the video, it's pretty funny.

Bowling
We took Max bowling for the first time Saturday night, and man was that an adventure. We are in the "I DO IT" and the bossy "STOP IT" stage right now. Which I'm sure it will only get worse the older he gets. So, each frame was a battle because Charles and I had to help him roll the ball down the lane. He would jump up and down, through himself on the lanes, and start kicking and screaming when Charles and I touched the ball. This process took place until about the 5th frame and he finally gave in to the help and calmed down. I only got a couple of pictures because I'm the one he choose to go out on the lane with him. I guess mommy was a little bit more calming than dad. He ended up having a great time, and I'm sure we will take him back and do the whole process over again.
Backyard fun
Today is the first day in a while that we have been able to enjoy our backyard. Between all the rain and the cooler weather we've kept Max inside. Today the boy was finally set free and had a great time playing with the dogs. We would like this spring weather to stick around a little longer.
