A Little Behind

It has been crazy busy around here lately.  Between traveling to OK for showers and babies, Charles traveling for work, and getting ready for baby girl it's been very hard to catch up on the blog.  So here is a big spill on what's been going on with us lately.

Max got a new jersey (GO POKES!) and absolutely loves it.  We've also been taking walks in the evening so Max can ride his bike, he gets a big kick out of this.  Unfortunately I ran over his bike the other day so it's a little wobbly, but still ride-able...thank goodness.

I also started putting up all our Halloween/Fall decorations outside.  Max was a big help during this process.  He told me where he wanted certain signs placed and he even helped me arrange the pumpkins on the front porch.  And of course he got to squeeze in some more bike time.

The weather has been so nice lately that Charles and I have been trying to keep Max out of the house during the evenings.  If that's our family walk, playing golf in the front yard, riding his bike, or taking him to the playground down the street.  This little man is getting so brave at the park.  He does all the big boy things...all by himself.  Makes mommy a little nervous and dad very proud.

We have been spending so much time outside in the evenings that our neighbors cat, Lena, comes over to hang out with us.  She is so good with Max and Max is just crazy about her.

I had to get into the attic a couple nights ago and Max thought it would be fun to see what exactly we store up there.  Like I said Mr. Man is getting very brave.

Funny little story.  Took Max with me to run some errands so Charles could get some work done in his office.  I could tell Max was a little tired, but def trying to fight it.  I looked back and told him he better not be falling asleep on me and this is what he said, "I'm going to rest for a minute, wake me up when we get to Target."

Took Max to the Halloween store while Charles was in NYC for work.  Thought we could maybe pick out a costume, or just get an idea of what he might want to be.  We still don't have a costume and what he wants to be changes daily.  Should be an interesting year for a costume.  He had a blast at the Halloween store and none of the creepy stuff scared him.  When we got home we played outside and got an unexpected visit from the ice cream man.  It's hard to tell Max no when he runs to the middle of the yard and starts dancing to the music the truck is playing.

Last but not least, school.  Max is really enjoying school.  He loves to have his picture taken by the fountain in the morning (not every morning), and he tells me how much fun he had every time I pick him up.  He even likes to play it cool in the car on the way to school.  Man, he's growing up way to fast.
