Paint Day

I bought Max his own little paint set after I saw how much he loved watching me paint.  Yesterday we finally got all his stuff out and he went to town.  He painted us 6 wonderful pictures, and I can't wait to frame them!  While we were doing our bedtime routine he told me that he wanted to paint again tomorrow.  I said OK, and off he went to bed.  When he came into our room this morning he first said, good morning mom, and then he said, let's paint today.  I assured him that we would definitely make time for him to paint.  I just love watching him be creative!

Snow Ice Cream

Charles and I had never heard of snow ice cream until several of our Facebook friends mentioned it during Oklahoma's snowmageddon.  So, since we got this lovely snow storm today we thought we would give a try.  We put a bowl outside, let it sit (which didn't take long to fill up), got on the internet to find a recipe, and voila snow ice cream.

Just enjoying another snow day here in Arkansas.  We even got Charles to stay home with us!  Max and Zeppelin had a blast playing in the snow, and Roxie and Conan even got into the spirit...just a little bit.  Now we are just waiting for our bucket to fill up with snow so we can make some snow ice cream.  Stay warm out there!

The Max Milligan Halftime Show

When the halftime show started Max ran to his room to get his guitar.  He just loves to play his guitar and sing to the music.  I was able to get this on video without him holding back.  Usually when I get the recorder out he decides he no longer wants to perform.  This little man keeps us entertained!  We think Max's halftime show was better than the one on TV.

Birthday

Happy 29th Birthday to me!  I got to do a little shopping, a little relaxing, and even enjoyed watching the Super Bowl and commercials.  The best part was spending it with my wonderful family!  Thank you for all the birthday wishes!
